I was born in 1972 of English, French, German and Irish heritage (probably others that I don't know about) and am a skeptical agnostic. I have lived in Maryland all my life and grew up in Walkersville, MD for the duration of my primary schooling. I attended the University of Maryland, College Park campus in 1990 where I earned a B.S. in Psychology with a 4.0 in my major after dropping out of Electrical Engineering.

Upon graduation, I shifted gears back toward more technical pursuits and got a job at Epic Games (then, Epic MegaGames), where I became a Producer for PC games such as Radix: Beyond the Void, Fire Fight, and Age of Wonders. When Epic moved to North Carolina (and laid off everyone from the Maryland office) I decided to take a shot at web development, in which I had a little experience.

I currently work in Washington, DC as a professional web developer with a company called Doceus. I am happily married to a wonderful woman from Slovakia. I am a self-admitted geek. I am competetive and a perfectionist, and I enjoy shattering others' expectations and snap judgements of me.

When I'm not in front of the computer, I enjoy watching movies, listening to heavy metal, working out and playing volleyball. Actually, I have dedicated a page to my likes and hobbies.
